Al Dhahabi is committed to ensuring that every order — whether unstitched fabric or a custom-tailored garment — is handled with care and delivered safely, accurately, and promptly. This policy sets out our shipping terms for both local Kuwait deliveries and regional GCC shipments, and should be read alongside our Return and Refund Policy.

1. Order Processing & Production Lead Times

All orders are subject to a processing period before dispatch. The applicable lead time depends on the nature of the order:

Processing Timelines
  • Unstitched Fabric Orders: Orders confirmed before 2:00 PM (Kuwait time) on a working day are dispatched the same day. Orders confirmed after 2:00 PM are dispatched the following working day.
  • Custom Stitched Garment Orders: A production period of 7 to 14 working days is required before dispatch, depending on the complexity of the order and current workload. Customers will be notified of the estimated completion and dispatch date at the time of order confirmation.

Note: Production lead times for stitched orders are estimates and may vary during peak periods or public holidays. Al Dhahabi will communicate any delays promptly.

2. Local Shipping - Kuwait

Al Dhahabi delivers to all regions across the State of Kuwait via our courier partner, Posta Plus.

Local Delivery Terms
  • Delivery is available across all governorates of Kuwait.
  • Unstitched fabric orders dispatched before 2:00 PM are typically delivered within 1 to 2 business days.
  • Deliveries are made Sunday through Thursday, excluding Kuwaiti public holidays.
  • Shipping fees are calculated and displayed transparently at checkout prior to order confirmation.
  • A tracking number will be provided upon dispatch to allow customers to monitor their shipment.
3. Regional Shipping - GCC Countries

Al Dhahabi ships regionally to the following GCC countries via Posta Plus:

  • Sultanate of Oman
  • Kingdom of Bahrain
  • State of Qatar
Regional Delivery Terms
  • Orders are delivered within 5 to 7 business days from the date of dispatch, subject to destination and customs processing timelines.
  • Tracking information is provided for all regional shipments upon dispatch.
  • Customs duties, import taxes, and any applicable processing fees are entirely the customer's responsibility and may be collected upon delivery by local customs authorities.
  • Al Dhahabi does not accept liability for delays caused by customs clearance procedures in the destination country.
  • Custom stitched garments may be shipped regionally. The production lead time under Section 1 applies before dispatch.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items Upon Delivery

Al Dhahabi takes all reasonable precautions to ensure orders are packaged securely. In the event that an item is received in a damaged condition or an incorrect item has been delivered, customers must adhere to the following procedure:

Reporting Procedure
  • Any damage or delivery error must be reported to Al Dhahabi within 48 hours of confirmed delivery.
  • Reports must be submitted via our official contact channels and must include clear photographic evidence of the damaged or incorrect item, as well as the original packaging.
  • Failure to report within the 48-hour window may affect the customer's eligibility for a remedy.
  • Upon review, Al Dhahabi will arrange a replacement, correction, or refund in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

Note: Al Dhahabi is not liable for damage caused after delivery has been confirmed, or for damage resulting from improper handling by the customer.

5. Failed or Missed Deliveries

In the event that a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to the customer's unavailability or an incorrect address provided at checkout, the following applies:

Failed Delivery Terms
  • Posta Plus will attempt redelivery in accordance with their standard operating procedures. Customers are advised to ensure someone is available to receive the order at the provided address.
  • If a delivery fails due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, any redelivery charges incurred will be the customer's responsibility.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address and contact number provided at checkout are accurate and complete. Al Dhahabi accepts no liability for non-delivery resulting from inaccurate customer information.
  • Uncollected or undeliverable parcels returned to Al Dhahabi may be subject to a reshipping fee before redelivery is arranged.
6. Order Cancellation Before Dispatch

Customers wishing to cancel an order must do so before dispatch. The following distinction applies:

Cancellation Terms
  • Unstitched Fabric Orders: Cancellation is permitted if the request is made before the order has been dispatched. A full refund will be issued in accordance with Section 5 of the Return and Refund Policy.
  • Custom Stitched Garment Orders: Once production has commenced, cancellation is not permitted. Customers are advised to confirm all order details — including measurements, fabric selection, and design specifications — carefully before placing a stitching order.

To request a cancellation, customers must contact Al Dhahabi immediately via official channels and quote their order number.

7. Shipping Liability

Al Dhahabi's liability in relation to shipping is limited to the following:

  • Al Dhahabi is responsible for ensuring orders are correctly packaged and handed to Posta Plus in good condition.
  • Once an order has been collected by Posta Plus and a tracking number has been issued, responsibility for transit passes to the courier.
  • Al Dhahabi will cooperate fully in any courier investigation regarding lost or damaged shipments, but cannot guarantee outcomes determined by the courier's liability policy.
  • For GCC shipments, Al Dhahabi accepts no liability for delays, additional charges, or losses arising from customs clearance processes.
8. Policy Updates

Al Dhahabi reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. Amendments will be published on our official website and take effect from the date of publication. Customers are encouraged to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
